We’ve taken December and January to wrap up outstanding projects and plan for the new year.  We’ll get back to more portrait work with our session on January 31st, but in the meantime, we’re taking advantage of the time off to just get out and enjoy ourselves with some pleasure shoots.  Recent weather patterns in central Ohio have offered some great opportunities.  Here are the best from this weekend…

We shot another wedding this weekend.  I’m sure the pics will be posted soon, but in the meantime, we thought these were funny enough to share.  If you’re wondering who photographers Mel and Adam really are, look no further!

Mel’s family was in town from Texas this week, but shutterbugs are never far from their cameras.  She caught these fun shots at various houses along the Columbus Garden Railway Tour.

Mel took some time for a much-needed break and visited Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and lovely Sedona. Check out some of the pics of the painted desert she brought back…

One of our favorite places to visit when we need a little rest and relaxation photography is Columbus’s Franklin Park Conservatory.  In addition to the peaceful setting, it’s a great place to play with some macro techniques that we don’t get to use during normal portrait photography sessions.
