Hinton Family at Home

The Hinton family are regular clients, and if truth be told, some of our favorites both in and out of our Columbus photo studio. To offer them something a little different, we drove down to their home near Chillicothe, Ohio to shoot some fun pics out on the country for them this time around.

Sara & Nate’s Big Day!

Check out this teaser from our most recent wedding. We met Sara and Nate earlier this summer at Jen & Dan’s wedding, and were really excited when they started looking around for wedding photographers in Columbus, Ohio that they thought of us first. We’re so fortunate to have such consistently awesome and fun wedding photography clients!

Joo & John’s Reception Mini-Studio

Yup, we took the mini-studio gear all the way to Canada for a recent destination wedding. Not familiar with our mini-studio? It’s kind of like a photo booth, only better. We call it the GroovyBooth! Not only can we get more people in front of the camera, but the camera is being operated by a professional photographer who is printing out keepsake portraits with the couple’s names and wedding date for the wedding guests, pretty much on-the-spot. Plus, the bridal couple receive all of the images electronically to share and reprint at-will, and we post most of them on Facebook for guests to tag themselves in.

Did we mention this is all free for your guests, or that because there are two of us your standard reception dance floor photos are still being taken? Right. We’ve heard it’s pretty cool… you know… from like everyone we’ve set the GroovyBooth up for.

So here are a few fun shots from John & Joo’s reception…

Madison’s First Photo Shoot

Mom brought baby Madison out to Franklin Park Conservatory to meet us for an afternoon toddler shoot in the beautiful fall sunlight. After we captured some pretty ones, Mom let her play in the fountain a bit for us!

All we can really say is… Can a photo booth do this?? Now you know why we call it the GroovyBooth.

Jen & Dan’s Wedding – Mini-Studio

It’ll be a few weeks before Jen & Dan’s photos from the event are ready, but the ones we took at their mini-studio and printed on-site for all their guests are just as fun to look at. Who needs a photo booth at their wedding reception when you can have a GroovyBooth, complete with professional photographers behind the camera?

Kendyl & Cayden – Summertime Fun!

These two cuties were back for their third photo shoot with us, this time at the Whetstone Park of Roses where we had a great time playing in the giant sandbox at the play ground. Here are the ones we just had to share!

Here’s what mom had to say the day after the photos were delivered…

I can’t express to you how much I LOVE the pics. So many people have complimented on them already. And I’ve past your info on to a few.

See you again in the late fall for another round!

Erika’s Senior Session

We recently received a call from Erika’s mom, who asked us to come to her high school and do some year-end senior pictures for Erika. Having worked with both the school and its drumline students before, we were thrilled to go back and try out some different techniques – including the fun composite of Erika with each of the instruments she played over her four-year high school drumline career!
